Our Doctor
Dr. Eric Sterett, DMD
Dr. Sterett has called Augusta home since his family moved to the area when he was seven years old.
Dr. Sterett and his wife, Jennifer, have one daughter and three sons. When not in the office, he enjoys taking his family bike riding along the Savannah River, kayaking, water-skiing, and spending time with other hobbies such as hunting, woodworking, playing guitar and violin, camping, and backpacking. They are members of the Alleluia Community and active parishioners at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Service to others is one of Dr. Sterett’s most fulfilling parts of life. Growing up as the oldest of eight children often placed him in the role of caring for others and providing some of his first opportunities for dental practice. His brothers might have some stories to tell …
After achieving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Medical College of Georgia, he worked as a registered nurse in the ICU at the V.A. Medical Center. Later he was accepted at the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry, where he completed his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry in May 2009.
Dr. Sterett understands that spending time with patients is critically important. His focus is patient education and understanding your dental health concerns and needs. Diagnosing, improving, and preserving oral health are Dr. Sterett’s priorities.
Continuing education and the practice of evidence-based dentistry is important to Dr. Sterett. He has membership in several professional organizations.
